Missions
Oak Grove Baptist Church believes that mission work begins at home but also extends to the US and the world. As believers, we are called to actively spread God's words and love to make a difference. We support local, national and international mission. Annie Armstrong is supported through Easter Missions while Lottie Moon is supported through Christmas Missions.
As God has instructed in Mark 16:15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
Lottie Moon
Starting in 1888, the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® was established to empower the international missions efforts for Southern Baptists. After more than a century, the annual offering continues its steady growth. The National Goal this year is $155 Million. Your giving enables missionaries to be sent to make disciples and multiply churches among unreached peoples and places for the glory of God.

Annie Armstrong
Every year we honor the life and work of Annie Walker Armstrong (1850-1938) when we give to the annual Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American missions. As a tireless servant of God and a contagious advocate and supporter of missions efforts throughout the world, Annie rallied churches to give more, pray more and do more for reaching people for Christ.
